Did you only start watching wrestling in your mid-twenties, like me? Are you extremely bummed that you won’t be seeing Orange Cassidy vs. Minoru Suzuki in April, like me?
I put together lists of pro wrestling comics over at Bookshop.org (for those looking to buy now) and Goodreads (for those adding to their #tbr shelves until the libraries reopen), including a few series that aren’t explicitly about wrestling but (at least I think) truly capture the wrestling spirit in terms of personality cults and varying degrees of gaudy violence (I see you, Golosseum).
Scroll past this picture of my bed for a list of wrestling-themed zines and micropress reads.

- We Watched Wrestling by Yewon Kwon & M.S. Harkness
- Ringside Recipes: A Wrestling-Inspired Cookbook Zine by Kendra & Kat
- ¡Naito Infinito! by Amanda Traphagen with illustrations by Iggy Argy, Angela Cosenzo, and Brandy Jefferys
- Girl Wrestling Fan Will You Marry Me (various contributors)
- She’s Hoping to Get Back in the Ring by Shivaun Hoad
- A Grrls Guide to Wrestling by Heather Bandenburg
- The Unmentionables by Jack Teagle
- Lucha Libre #1 by Mapache Studios
- Wrestle Club by Josh Rosen
- Hot Tag by Dan Nelson
- Mind Games (various contributors)
- You Can See Me/ Feed Me More: A Split Self-Help Zine by John Cena

Big thanks to Ed Blair of Holy Demon Army Distro, “Raul”, and Chris for their help in putting together these lists.
Anyway, I still think about that time I saw John Cena at BookExpo a lot.
